Poster topics

Gun Control-about gun violence awareness
War-promoting peace
Capitalism-identifying nations over consumption

Sorry for being late.

PS I went and saw the Banksy Pet Store Exhibit in NY yesterday, it was really cool, thanks for the suggestion!:)

These topics are so broad that it is tough to comment:

Gun control: Is raising gun violence awareness enough to get 18-24 year olds to vote? People vote because they think they can achieve something through their vote. Your poster would have to 1)make 18-24 years care about this issue 2) Once they care about it, believe that they can decrease gun violence through a specific means by voting. For example, maybe you are demonstrating through your poster what effect across-the-board automatic weapon bans would have on violent crime.

War: Which war are you addressing? Iraq War? Israel/Palestine? Promoting peace is particularly relevant for American 18-24 year olds if you focus on Iraq. It will be tough to come up with something new for this since many peace posters are out there. But it is certainly a fertile topic.

Capitalism: I'm not sure what you mean here. Give me a more specific topic and I can give you feedback.

One more thought, for gun violence maybe something specifically on gun violence and gangs? That targets the age group but not necessarily the voters among them.

Glad you like the Banksy show! I really want to see it myself.

Guns: big, huge topic. How would you approach it?

War: Peace is good, again, what's your concept?

Capitalism: Really broad. Capitalism in what specific way?

Refine and develop. Good topics, now focus them.
